Eterna confirms Patrick Kury as CEO and announces the appointment of David Vallata as Vice President
Patrick Kury, who was heading the company as CEO ad-interim since October 2011, is confirmed CEO as of March 1, 2012. Patrick Kury brings his vast experience in watchmaking and is the key person for Eterna’s technological developments in the past years.
David Vallata joins Eterna from Carl F. Bucherer, where he was Executive Vice President Sales with several years of experience in the Asia-Pacific region. After his appointment as Vice President, he will be in charge of marketing, sales and product development for Eterna and Porsche Design Timepieces.
David Vallata holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Studies. He worked as a consultant for a corporate financial services department and in various capacities with Swiss watch brands. From 2003 on, he was based for a five-year period in Hong Kong and Taipei, where he managed the development of business in China, Taiwan and Japan.
